In a thrilling encounter, Real Sociedad and Sevilla drew 1-1 in their latest match. The game was played at the Estadio El Madrigal, home ground for Real Sociedad.

The match started with both teams looking to take control of the game from the start. However, it was Real Sociedad who had the first opportunity to score. A corner kick from the right wing found its way into the box where it was met by a header which was saved by Sevilla goalkeeper, David Ospina.

Sevilla were not discouraged by this setback and they responded well, creating several chances on goal. They had two shots on target within the first ten minutes of the game. One of them was a header from Pablo Sarabia that hit the crossbar.

Real Sociedad continued to press forward and created some good opportunities of their own. Their best chance came in the 25th minute when a shot from midfield found its way past Sevilla's defense but was saved by Ospina.

Despite being behind, Sevilla refused to give up and they continued to create chances. They finally broke through in the 47th minute when a corner kick found its way to the far post where it was met by Pablo Sarabia who headed it past Real Sociedad goalkeeper, Iker Casillas.

However, Real Sociedad did not give up and they continued to push forward. They equalized in the 68th minute when a counter attack saw a pass find the feet of Mikel Oyarzabal who scored his first goal since joining Real Sociedad from Valencia last summer.

Both teams earned a point from the game, and it will be interesting to see how they respond in their next matches.
